Official Trailer of Fifty Shades of Grey

Let me preface this by saying that I have yet to read even a single sentence of the 50 Shades of Gray trilogy of books.

So when I clicked on this link for the trailer of the movie, I was so less than impressed.

The woman in the trailer looked more beaten down than curious or intrigued.

And the man…I guess the purpose was to make him come across as a monster?!?!

Then I noticed that the date on the trailer was April 5, 2013 and despite it saying that it was the official trailer, perhaps it was not.

The next link for the movie Fifty Shades of Grey was a bit more intriguing to me.

While I may not ever watch the movie, at least this trailer didn’t repulse and repel me.

The female is a much softer, realistic “non-Hollywood” typical type.

The male has eyes that say “if you would just accept me as I am, I could love you forever”.

…and, of course, I find myself debating whether the Beyonce song actually matches the theme or the movie or not.
