Can peer pressure be positive? Why or why not?

Can peer pressure be positive? Why or why not?

Peer pressure can be positive.

Like I mentioned in a previous post, the rules and regulations of the governing body is nothing without the peer pressure to capitulate.

Sometimes, peer pressure can also be an effective way to get things done.

Half the reason why I attempt to tidy up my home is because of the peer pressure of someone dropping by and judging. Lol.

It is worth noting that peer pressure can also be used negatively, and is very evident in the life of teens (at least according to tv) and women.

It may not even be the intent of the user but the results thereafter that determines whether or not the peer pressure was positive or negative.

Pressuring someone to lose weight and they do and they feel good about it = good peer pressure.

Pressuring someone to lose weight and they don’t and feel bad about it = bad peer pressure.

I guess a healthy dose of peer pressure applied in a positive manner is great for motivating. Like you, I do housework  only because of the peer pressure of someone dropping by and judging!!   LOL!!

    Nice to meet you, sista!
